What Exactly is Hermes Agent?

Hermes Agent is an open-source AI assistant project by NousResearch. Its special feature is: it's not a fixed model, but a growing system.

Specifically: It remembers you (every conversation, feedback, preference), it improves (adjusts response style based on your feedback), it understands context (knows your project background, work habits).

Technical Architecture

Based on Hermes series LLMs, plus growth mechanism: long-term memory, incremental learning, personalized adaptation.

Which Platforms Are Supported?

Supports Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, OpenClaw, Moltbot, etc. Open-source, can deploy yourself.

My Take

The direction of growing AI is correct. Current AI assistants are all one-time, no continuity. Hermes Agent wants to turn AI assistants into long-term partners. Of course there are challenges: privacy issues, effectiveness issues. But anyway, Hermes Agent points out a direction: AI assistants should not just be tools, but should be partners.
